Like a Virgin


Like Madonna, I've fallen in love with all things British. Unlike Madonna, I have yet to adopt a fake accent and pretend I'm to the manor born (though that issue of last year's Vogue begs to differ). With the Metropolitan Museum of Art's upcoming "Anglomania" exhibit, I am more than certain there's another British Invasion a-comin' (if it hasn't already come about a million times already). Of course, there's the requisite shrine built to uber-group Coldplay and poster boy James Blunt (though that backlash is upon us), but since the Brits never want to admit that the sun actually does set on its musical empire, there's also a heavy dose of Beatles in the rotation. Quite curious indeed!
